Swap Meet Set Up 2 PM – 6PM on Thursday 7AM to 1130AM on Friday- Saturday Swap Set Up 7am to 730am
Swap Meet Hosted By:
The Tin Butchers
Check out their swap meet!
Torque Fest has teamed up with the Tin Butchers to bring an expanded swap meet! We still have the same strict entry guidelines for people wanting to sell at the swap meet.
If you dont know….the Tin Butchers put on the Scrap Drive. This is one of the best PARTS ONLY swap meets in the midwest. Yes there are much bigger swap meets……..but those have tupperware, vinyl graphics, hot wheels, and snowmobile parts. The Scrap Drive is one of those few shows that want ONLY the good stuff and that is why Torque Fest is so happy to have these guys on board with the event. They know how to do it right and we hope that people here in the midwest will want to come out and dig some of the good stuff outta their garage and bring it down. Seeya there with your ’35 grills and NOS 6 volt light bulbs….or whatever else you got hiding!!! Bring it down and make some $$ and help your fellow hot rodders get their rides back on the road. .
10 x 20 spots will be $40 (size of spot can be negotiated with Sam from Tin Butchers) 1 wristband will be given out per spot. This wristband gets you into the show. If you have extra people with you – they will have to pay the spectator fee to get in to the show.
There have been a LOT of people really wanting to make this a part of the show………The Tin Butchers have stepped up and taken the responsibility.
There will be very strict guidelines for this swap meet.
NO HOT WHEELS (unless they are pre 1980) – NO DIECAST TOYS (vintage tin toys are OK) – NO “new” MAGAZINES – Vintage only (pre 1970) – NO CLOTHING – NO FOOD – NO MOTORIZED BAR STOOLS – NO SHAM WOWS – NO CERAMICS – NO DOG TREATS – NO VINYL GRAPHICS – NO BEANIE BABIES – NO CALIFORNIA DUSTERS – ETC
you get the idea
We would rather have 25 great car part vendors than 200 lame vendors that no one cares to look at anyway.
At the gate, the Tin Butchers will be checking everyone out (and most likely looking at your stuff to get first crack) If you have questions about what is good and what is not – email me or Dave Snow 608-295-3016 or firstname.lastname@example.org
Ask for Dave Snow or a Tin Butcher representative when you arrive. They are in charge of the swap meet. Registering Thursday or Friday will not qualify as a Pre register
Please note some of the spots for this show are going to be inside the barns at the fairgrounds and as a result we may not be able to accomodate oversize vehicles. If you have something larger than a dually – please call in advance.
